Within the Walls
Installation, sound design, community
Created as part of GLOW winter festival in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, this installation focused on bringing the voices and experiences of the community back into Eastbury Manor House. Visitors are guided around the courtyard by the voices of local people, via interviews conducted over several weeks with residents, community groups and schools in and around Barking.
The project was commissioned by the Arts Council and Studio 3 Arts. In collaboration with Emily Briselden-Waters. With thanks to Sandringham Newham and Eastbury Primary School.
